From 3D base shape to
produced tracksuit.
A 3D tracksuit design created in CLO3D for Watsup — starting from a clean base shape, refined into a full design direction with logo variations, approved digitally, and finally produced as a real product.

The project story
A tracksuit developed digitally before production.
This project shows how a 3D workflow can shorten the sample process. The brand can review shape, construction, logo placement, and final design direction before committing to physical production.
01
The base shape
The project started with a clean base tracksuit shape in CLO3D.
This step defined the silhouette, fit direction, volume, and overall proportions before adding design details.

02
Design direction
After the base was approved, I developed the actual tracksuit design: dividing seams, piping and proportions. The goal was to turn a simple base into a recognizable Watsup product.

03
Logo variations
Different logo placements and size options were tested digitally. This allowed the brand to compare the visual impact before producing physical samples.

04
Final approval in 3D
The final design direction was reviewed digitally. Watsup could evaluate the full product before production: fit, color, logo placement, and overall brand look.

05
From digital design to produced product
The final tracksuit was produced by Watsup. This case shows how 3D design can speed up early product development by replacing guesswork with clear visual decisions.

Why 3D matters
Less guessing. Fewer samples. Faster decisions.
3D garment design does not replace production. It makes the early decision-making process faster by showing the brand what the product can look like before the first physical sample is made.
TRADITIONAL WORKFLOW
Idea → sketch → tech pack → first sample → feedback → revised sample → more feedback → production decision.
3D WORKFLOW USED HERE
Instagram concept → brand discovery → 3D adaptation → matching pieces → women’s version → production decision.
Deliverables
What the brand received
The focus was not just a nice render. The goal was a clear digital product direction that could move into production.
3D GaRment design
Hoodie, matching pants, and colorways developed digitally in CLO3D.
Visual approval assets
Clean renders and views to evaluate silhouette, proportions and design details.
3D GaRment design
Sewing pattern and a tech-sheet with measurements for the brand to move from digital approval into physical production
